Cooker Hood Switch - 3
- This switch unit was used on the curved glass, flat t-line & straight glass unit cooker hoods from 2008 to present.
2 . If your extractor is pre 2008 please contact us and we will advise on the correct switch unit.
3 . If your cooker hood was manufactured before 2008 you will need to ensure the serial number and product code are entered correctly in the drop-down menu when ordering.
This replacement switch unit will fit Luxairs wall mounted cooker hoods ending in the product code LA-60-CVD-BLK, LA-90-STGL-SS for example.
Its important that you check the serial number inside the hood to ascertain the year the product was manufactured. If you are not sure send us a photo of the label located behind the metal grease filters attached to the inside of the hood body, and we can advise you on the correct switch to be used. info@luxairhoods.com
The switch assembly in cooker hoods serves as the control mechanism for operating various functions such as turning the lights on and off and regulating the fan speeds.
The switch assembly can get damaged due to wear and tear over time, frequent usage or electrical issues.
It is recommended that when replacing any cooker hood spare parts, it is done so by a qualified electrician. - Replacing a switch box and assembly can be straight forward however we highly recommend the work be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- If your old extractor has HALOGEN light bulbs then you must replace these with a new LED light kit & driver as the new switch will pop the PCB if wired to the halogen transformer*

Please note button covers are not supplied with this particular switch unit, we recommend that you use your existing buttons from your existing switch unit, that should simply pop off, however if you do need new buttons please email us and we can assist with this info@luxairhoods.com
