• Replacing a switch box and assembly can be straight forward however we highly recommend the work be carried out by a qualified electrician.
• Motors / Switch units from pre-2007 to 2010 will be hard wired, meaning the wiring between switch and motor are one connection. Cooker hoods 2011 to 2013 will have a plug connector unit so the switch is easy to install plug and play.
• If you are unsure don't worry, if you provide the serial number and model number we will ensure the switch unit sent is the correct one for the date.
•  If the motor is still functional and the switch is the problem you will need to cut the wiring loom and joint the two. 
• This switch unit is a genuine Luxair Cooker Hood replacement part and Luxair cannot be held responsible if other none genuine manufacturers parts are used.
• It is recommended that when replacing any cooker hood spare parts, it is done so by a qualified electrician.
