Damaged Goods
If you have received a damaged appliance you must report this within 48 Hours of receiving the goods.
- Returning unwanted items can be done through your account login.
- Items that are damaged purchased from a third party must be dealt with via that company where you purchased the appliances from.
- Any items damaged either by you or your installers are not covered by warranty, however we can supply parts if required.
- If your product develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, please return with proof of purchase and we’ll exchange or refund it.
- If an item is to be returned, then this must be returned at your own cost, unless an agreed collection has been confirmed with Luxair. For damaged hoods reported within 48 hours all return costs will be refunded after inspection.
Call Out Charge
Luxair may charge you a call out charge of £150.00 Inc Vat if
- The appliance is not installed incorrectly according to the instructions.
- Water damage or electrical fault to the premises or electrical fault due to installation.
- The ducting size used is not the correct size for the extractor,
- Charcoal filters have not been used for none ducted ( re-circulated )hoods.
- The appliance is not registered or is out of the warranty period.
- This call out charge is payable upfront before an engineer is allocated to your job and does not cover parts that may be needed to repair the appliance and will be charged separately.
- If the fault is covered by our warranty, you will receive a full refund for the call out charge within 3 days of the engineers visit.
