Long Life Charcoal Filter Cassette – Odour Control for Luxair Cooker Hoods

Keep your kitchen air clean and your extractor running efficiently with this Long Life Charcoal Filter Cassette, specially designed for use with Luxair cooker hoods. Built with high-performance granular activated carbon, this filter offers 85–90% odour reduction, helping to remove grease, smoke, and cooking smells from the air.
Ideal for recirculating cooker hood setups, the cassette also helps prolong the life of your motor by preventing grease and debris build-up.
Metal grease filters can be placed in your dishwasher upright as you would a plate. This will remove the built up grease. Please do not use abrasive cleaners on either your filters or cooker hood. Using an abrasive cleaning product can tarnish the filters.
The filters must be washed at least one a month with hot water and detergent.
If washing in a dishwasher, make sure to avoid substances with thinners, solvents, hydrochloric acid, bleach, alcohol or abrasive substances. Please do not wash the filters on a temperature higher than 60 degrees.
Avoid alkaline dishwasher detergents (with a pH value higher than 7). Depending on the cleaning agent used, cleaning the filter in a dishwasher can cause permanent discoloration to the surface. However, this will not affect the functioning of the filter in any way. After cleaning, leave the filter to dry on an absorbent surface before putting it back in place.
When your new filter arrives, it may have a blue protective film around the outer edge of the filter, this must be removed by simply peeling it off, it is only there to protect the steel edges from getting scratched in transit.
Filters are not covered by warranty
The Lusso cartridge filter fit on top of the cooker hood motor housing and must be replaced every 2 years.
Each product image displays the exact dimensions of the filter. When selecting your replacement filter, please allow for minor size variations. For example, if your existing filter measures 200mm x 300mm and our filter is 202mm x 298mm, it is likely to still fit your extractor hood.

Tab Adjustment Instructions
If the filter dimensions are correct but the tab positions differ from your original filter, you can adjust them as follows:
- Carefully fold back the existing tabs using a flat-head screwdriver or similar flat tool.
- Place your old filter on top of the new one to mark the correct tab positions.
- Using a sharp utility knife (e.g., Stanley knife), cut new slots to match.
- Bend out the new tabs to secure the filter in place.
This simple adjustment allows you to customize the filter to match your original fitting.
